A Summer of Enlightment

When Medici MediaSpace debuted in August of 2016, one of the primary goals for the community was to provide a place where people could share and fulfill their business or personal goals. Many of our members have created opportunities to connect, educate, entertain and grow their businesses through creative use of our space and the support that is available to them. During the summer, a variety of events have taken place or are in the planning stages. They include:

  • Marty Casey’s Act Up Class
  • The debut of radio station Mix 99.5FM
  • Simple Meditation for Beginners Class with Mike Kitko
  • (ware)HOUSE Concerts hosted by Tom Ruwitch
  • #GetHiredLunch & Learn Series with Sean Brady, Kevin Harrell, Chuck Rice and Art Snarzyk
  • Artist Development Classes by Kelli Justice
  • 4S Seminars hosted by Steve Denny
  • Monthly Meetings of the Hill’s Angels
  • Marketing My Art events by Jesse Barash
  • Leisa Jenkins’ Take Action Success Seminars
  • Center for Entrepreneurial Education Conference led by John Schultz
  • Building a Sales Structure for Superior Results Seminar by Marc Metz
  • Business Mastermind Sessions hosted by Terry Lammers
  • FLIP Social Media Classes by Mich Hancock and Josh Levey
  • Workshops on Unraveling Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Disorders by Dr. Stephanie Nicholson

After several months of preparation, the Rock 4 the Cause event on July 12 exceeded our expectations. We will be distributing the net proceeds of our first fundraiser to the eight charities that participated. Our resident videographer, Moses Ukoh, created a video montage featuring Co-Organizer Olu Darden. It’s featured on the Rock 4 the Cause Facebook Page. We’ve begun the preliminary planning for the second annual Rock 4 the Cause, and we’re working on several new collaborative projects.  The current schedule is posted on our website.

We’ve also had the joy of working with three college interns on several marketing projects this summer. Special thanks to Morgan Rinder, Maddie Ruwitch and Bridget Condie for contributing their time, talent and enthusiasm to the Medici MediaSpace community.
